Board Elections: The voting procedure
How to vote? The Network member organizations participating in the vote rank all candidates on the shortlist in order of preference. (It is important that all organizations on the shortlist are ranked in order to avoid having too many equal scores. See Election results.) Each Network member organization determines the ranking of nominated organizations according to its internal decision-making procedures. The voting result is communicated to the Director of the BWPP via e-mail (director@bwpp.org), letter or fax. Any vote received after noon Central European Time (GMT+1) on Friday, 1 February 2008 will be invalid.
Voting period The voting period starts on 24 December 2007 and ends on 1 February 2008. This six-week period takes into account seasonal holidays in different parts of the world and allows Network member organizations to consult among their respective decision-making organs to determine their selections.
